2019 Winners announced for the Water Resilient Cities Award for Sustainable Drainage Systems
An international committee has decided to award:
OKRA landschapsarchitecten for the best “SuDS in a constrained urban setting” for their work in the centre of Nijverdal, The Netherlands.
ALATACC for the best “SuDS integrating multiple added benefits” for their work on Le jardin du Clos Coutard in Saumur, France.
The annual Water Resilient Cities (WRC) Award promotes the best projects using Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, or the United Kingdom. The award is open to any organisation, including companies, charities, universities, a public authorities and other government agencies.
The Award winners were invited to give a short presentation of their award winning sites during the event in Peterborough. Their presentations, including lots of photographs of the areas before and after the work had finished, can be found below.
